We are a fully insured for Dry Hire of our equipment by 360 Plant and Equipment Pty Ltd ABN 85 087 238 837 AR 424918 a corporate authorised representative of SURA Pty Ltd ABN 36 115 672 350 AFSL 294313 and has authority from Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850 AFSL 234 708 to administer this insurance including handling and settling claims.
WHAT DOESN'T IT COVER The following exclusions below are the most frequent and commonly encountered. This list is not exhaustive, so we recommend reviewing policy documentation for a complete overview. • Using equipment recklessly • Damage to Tyres • Intentional or criminal acts • Under the influence of illicit substances • Under the influence of alcohol • Unroadworthy Vehicles • Any other Daft shit that is so amazingly stupid we hadn't thought to mention it here
WHAT IS DRY HIRE INSURANCE?
Dry hire refers to renting or leasing of equipment without the inclusion of an operator, fuel, or any additional services. Unlike a wet hire where the rental includes the services of an operator, in a dry hire, the client must either operate the excavator themselves or hire a qualified operator separately.
Insurance Details
Standard Excess is 1% with a minimum of $2,500, of the sum of the Sum(s) Insured of Insured Items suffering Insured Damage.
Claims arising from or in connection with Theft by Hirer: 1% with a minimum of $5,000, of the sum of the Sum(s) Insured of Insured Items suffering Insured Damage.
Age / Inexperience Excess(es): Under the age of 21 $800 each and every event
Between the ages of 21 and 25 $600 each and every event
Aged 25 or more but under 2 years experience $600 each and every event
The Age / Inexperience Excess is payable in addition to the Standard Excess.
